Second Star to the Right and Straight on Until Morning

Milky Way Season is upon us again. 14 image panorama taken under very dark skies in the heart of the Riverina NSW Australia. The Milky Way was so bright I almost needed sunnies to turn down the glare! Lots of green airglow visible too. I had a lot of company along the way, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Emus, Bunny Rabbits and Foxes, I’m proud to say that to-date with all my driving around nightscaping no creature has been harmed, well except for a couple of bugs on my windscreen and grill.

Turn Right Ahead

And as an added bonus, my photograph has been featured on my favourite Astronomy News site ‘Universe Today’ – http://www.universetoday.com/110264/astrophoto-second-star-to-the-right-and-straight-on-until-morning/
