Leveling my tripod, finding the right settings and waiting for the next set of waves to crash, missed a huge one moments ago. Mother in law, father in law and wife stabbing me with their piercing eyes willing me to finish already and climb back into the tour bus. “We’re all waiting for you!”.

blah blah… You can’t rush perfection I thought. I heard a photographer say that to his mate years ago and I remember I almost burst out laughing. But in reality if it wasn’t for the other tourists on the bus waiting for me I would’ve milked it just a little bit longer and waited for a bigger wave.

The Amalfi coast is beautiful, worth a visit anytime of the year.
